Theological Writing
June 14th, 2007 by Adam
I have written a fairly large body of theological work. I will fill this page with them as I have time available to convert them into the proper format and publish them here. For now, I merely include sections with summaries of my work.
Eschatology
I have written a 160 page book on the topic of eschatology and the “end times” that started as a paper for some Intervarsity Christian Fellowship friends. It is called Then Comes the End.
Eternal Punishment
I have debated with one of New Zealand’s most vocal defenders of annihlationism online over at TheologyWeb. Rather than simply echo what has already been said in defense of eternal punishment, I built a defense of hell and eternal punishment following James Jordan’s Through New Eyes and studies on typology, symbolism, and studies on the ascension offerings of Leviticus. Hopefully I can get the entire debate up here before too long. I am also working on a paper that expands my defenses of my arguments.
Culture
I’ve written a bunch on Christianity and Culture, attempting to walk the line between compromise on the one hand and being “of the world” on the other.

Commentaries
In my spare time I am currently working on a commentary on Genesis that attempts to follow the typological example of Leithart, Jordan, and Meyers, and following the lead of Jordan’s Through New Eyes, Primeval Saints, and Creation in Six Days. I try to keep the debate over creation in its minimal place and allow the textual narrative flow to determine my focus. So far I have completed commentary on Gen. 1:1-14. The commentary is called From Glory to Glory.
